Location

We
are 19 km outside Pietermaritzburg towards Greytown. Whether from Durban or
Johannesburg when you approach Pietermaritzburg City, take the road that leads
you to Greytown Road. You will drive on that road until you see the Wartburg/Tongaat
Road sign which you pass. Upon seeing the Albert Falls Dam and D73 road signs,
turn right towards  the D73 route, a
gravel road, driving Eastwards. Drive for the next ?KMsuntil, and as you notice
the Valley Farm on your left,  Mlambomunye
is visible and has several thatched huts on its yard.

Driving own Transport

Driving from Durban or JHB you take Greytown/Church Street off-ramp, from DBN at robots you take right, from JHB you take left, pass the first set of robots, next robots again on you left you will see Northdale Mall with Spar, stick to your right as at the next set of robots opposite Engen Garage and Nandos you will have to take right.

Drive down the hill never turn again as that will be Greytown road. You  drive up the hill, Shack houses on you right, till at the top go down Sugar cane farms straight until you see Tongaat/Wartburg sign, pass that, on the left  you will see yellow shop, pass until you see  road sign ALBERT FALL / D73. Take D73 (Gravel Road) and drive passing farms, until you see Chicken Farm. Opposite that farm there is TOP CROP sign, get into that road, then you will see Thatched houses.

Using Public Transport

From PMB take a taxi to Empolweni Mission and ask to be dropped at Bus stop (Kwa Gonowakhe) from there take the gravel road until you see Chicken farm and just opposite it’s us.
