The Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020 turned the world upside down.
The way people communicated and stayed connected with one another, changed
drastically. Internet-based communication took centre stage. And is set to run
the world.
It is against this background that Umsamo Africa Institute, will
from 2022, host regular two-hour live Umsamo Sunday Sessions podcasts via Zoom.
Themed episode by episode, these podcasts will run from 13:00 – 15:00 every
Sunday.
This will be launched on the 9th of January 2022.
For over ten years now, Umsamo Africa Institute has been offering
critical advice on African healing and African spirituality as integral to our
holistic and life-giving human existence. Now, in Umsamo Sunday Sessions, Dr
Velaphi ka Luphuzi Mkhize, an African spiritualist who founded Umsamo, shares
his insights and extraordinary life journey. Frank and never shy of
controversy, Dr Mkhize promises to enlighten in a lively and engaging way. He
continues to share his vast knowledge on the confusion and dilemmas brought
about by colonialism, Western education, and other dislocations on African
people’s lives. This is a genuinely wonderful opportunity to hear him speak,
while also asking him about issues that concern you deeply.
